T & T Web Design has now become a Google Partners certified agency, meaning we are now officially recognised as a trusted business partner by Google and, we hope, even more so by our clients.

Google Partner accreditation means that Google trusts and recommends T & T Web Design to manage client’s Adwords campaigns for search advertising. It also means we can have a shiny new button on our website.

Being an accredited Google Partner gives us access to powerful research facilities on search engine marketing and pay-per-click as well as advanced training and in-depth education enabling us to help our clients make money online.

As a certified member of the Partners Community we have the opportunity to build good relationships with fellow certified partners, share information and hang out with Google specialists – we also get access to the latest updates before the general public and we get to attend training events at Google HQ.

Partner status is an endorsement by Google that means we have met strict criteria for our structure as a digital agency, our Adwords client base and monthly Adwords expenditure, it also means that our Search Engine Marketing team has the level of expert knowledge and experience that Google expects.

Google themselves say:

“Google Partners are online marketing companies, trusted by Google. Proven success is what puts Partners above the rest. They use industry best practices to manage campaigns and focus on helping you get the most out of your marketing budget.”

“Partners stay ahead of the curve by working directly with Google. With access to training and product updates, Partners stay on top of what’s going on with Google.”

The PPC dept at T & T Web Design has proven itself to have advanced knowledge and understanding of Google Adwords by running high performing ad campaigns that include the various campaign features provided by Adwords to help maximise your return on investment (ROI), each qualified individual must pass at least two very challenging Google Adwords exams.*

Our clients can be confident that, as Google Partners, we are keeping up to date on the latest digital tools and products and we have to prove that by passing the search engine’s certification exams every 12 months.

Google will regularly review our client accounts to make sure they are always getting excellent service, the reviews include the type and frequency of the changes being made, client retention, and checking that we’re making the most of clients’ budgets.

The accreditation also means that T & T Web Design has direct access to the Google support team and a wide range of Google resources and training to keep us ahead of the game.

Google often rewards its trusted agencies with special offers and discount vouchers for new campaigns, this means we can save clients money on new PPC advertising campaigns.

Partner status also means we can be found via the Google Partner Search tool, allowing potential clients to find out more about us via our Google Partner profile.

How to qualify for Google Partner status:

The agency firstly needs to prove it has an “active and healthy” book of business, which Google says means it knows that the agency “will stand the test of time”. The agency’s manager account will be checked for various indicators of business health, including a certain level of spend in recent months.

As Google says: “We review your client accounts to make sure your clients are getting excellent service, including the type and frequency of the changes you’re making, client retention, and whether you’re making the most of your clients’ budgets.”

The agency must have at least one affiliated team member pass the ‘Fundamentals’ exam as well as one of the two advanced certification exams — either the ‘Advanced Search’ or ‘Advanced Display’ exam:

Fundamentals: This exam covers the most basic aspects of AdWords and online advertising, including account management and the value of search advertising.

Advanced Search: This exam covers intermediate-to-advanced best practices for managing AdWords campaigns.

Advanced Display: This exam covers intermediate-to-advanced best practices for advertising on YouTube and the Google Display Network.

Video Advertising: This exam covers basic and advanced YouTube and Google Display Network concepts, including topics such as ad formats, targeting, and reporting.

If you think this is like an easy peasy GCSE, think again, as the score required to pass for each exam is as follows:

Fundamentals Exam – 85%
Advanced Search Exam – 80%
Advanced Display Exam – 70%
Video Advertising Exam – 85%

After passing the exams the team member has to take them again every year.

So, if you need someone to manage your PPC campaign, get in touch with us now and put our expertise to good use.
